Tyler Roth Intro Title

Opening animation for Tyler Roth, one of the best young colorists in Chicago. I used footage of black ink being dropped into a tank of water and composited/animated the elements in After Effects. The typeface is Gotham Bold.

    Tsuburaya used to drop paint in a tank, and film it with the camera upside down to make it look as though an explosion was bursting out of the water.

    The ink sort of reminded me of that.
