Modern Fossil

After walking past this cement column for many years, I finally noticed the amazing "fossil" of a bird impressed in the cement. Probably a pigeon? It's disgusting and beautiful at the same time. I'm sure some building crew had a good laugh at tossing this dead bird into the form. Lower Michigan / Grand Avenue.
